Process/Journey
I returned to college at 52 with my family’s support and encouragement, where I fulfilled my lifelong determination to complete my education, and particularly to become a Marriage and Family Therapist.

Education and Professional Training
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Associate (Tx License #200909). I hold a Master's Degree in Family Therapy from Texas Woman's University and Bachelor's Degree in Family Studies, also from Texas Woman's University.

A chronological listing of professional training I have participated in during the past three years is available in a Word document.

Marriage and Family
I have been married for 35 years to Chuck Crossno, an electrical engineer specializing in the design of airport lighting and navigation systems. I became mother to his two children who were nine and seven when we married, and we have one biological child. All three children are married and we have two wonderful grandchildren, one 14 and one 11. I am the second child, functional eldest, and oldest daughter of four siblings. I am a true Cajun, born and reared in South Louisiana, with family roots in Nova Scotia dating back to the 1600s. My Cajun family includes 39 first cousins, their 99 children, and 51 grandchildren. As the fifth eldest among the cousins, I have clocked many hours in the midst of family.

Balance
Fun, food, fellowship and faith. I find balance in daily walks with Chuck, a 25 year pattern. We ride bikes on a 10 mile trail around White Rock Lake, near our home of 28 years. I am an accomplished cook and love to entertain friends and family. Before becoming a therapist, I pursued my interests in fiber arts, needlework, and gardening. I am a licensed pilot and I fly regularly with Chuck and our son, both experienced pilots. Chuck and I enjoy traveling together, and we particularly enjoy cruising.
